GROWING WILLAMETTE VALLEY

At my first Women to Women Network event, an after-hours fall of 2020, I knew I had found my people! I joined in the new year, and I am so thankful a past connection invited me to that first event and introduced me to the group.

Fast forward a couple of years, and the opportunity to expand the Women to Women Network to Yamhill County was mentioned–I jumped at the chance to be involved. It has been a little over a year since the Yamhill County Chapter was launched, and as a Co-Director, it has been quite a ride! Stepping into leadership has been, at times, challenging (WtoWN has a lot going on) but also rewarding. I have grown personally and professionally. I’ve made countless new connections, friends, and collaboration.

And now we have another new opportunity!

The Yamhill County Chapter and the Marion County Chapter are officially part of the Willamette Valley Region of Women to Women Network. Both chapters have been running independently, but now we are adding a Regional Team to support both chapters better, expand our programming and events in the region, and add another chapter to cover Corvallis and Albany.

If you are interested in leadership and helping the region and the new Corvallis Chapter grow, let us know! There will be a Q&A Zoom meeting on June 17 from 3-4 pm. You can attend by registering below.

I am excited about the possibilities and opportunities the region and new chapter will bring to the network and to each of you. As always, we love to hear your ideas, and of course, we always welcome any guests you invite to our events. Who knows, your next invitee could be our next leader!
