Stronger Together: A Multigenerational Women’s Health and Fitness Event

Join us for an empowering and educational event hosted by Grace and Grit Training, designed to strengthen the bond between mothers and daughters, older and younger generations, while providing invaluable insights into women’s health! Our goal is to normalize conversations about periods, hormones, and the changes that occur throughout our menstrual cycles, from beginning to end.

We'll also delve into topics such as fitness,eating disorders, the importance of strength training, self defense and the critical roles of nutrition, mindset, and stress management in maintaining lifelong strength and health.

Periods & Hormones:

  • Understanding the menstrual cycle

Strength Training & Nutrition:

  • The importance of strength training at every age

  • Nutritional needs for different stages of life

  • Practical tips for maintaining a balanced diet and staying fit

  • Talk for youth athletes on fueling their bodies for performance

  What to Expect:

  • Interactive Sessions: Engage in a panel Q&A session with speakers 

  • Mother and Teen Education: Enjoy activities and conversations designed to deepen your connection and also grow your understanding of the female body and women's health. 

  • Group Workout - 45 minute workout led by fitness professionals

  • Coffee/ Tea and Breakfast Items from 8:30-9:30

  • Self Defense Session led by Jessica Johnson 

  • Catered Lunch by All in Meals 

  • On Being an “Older” Athlete - talk by Michelle Feldman, Crossfit Coach and Yoga Teacher

  • Talk with a Doc - Dr. Jessica Mitchell, OB GYN and Women’s Health Expert

  • Strength Training Talk for Adults and Teens led by Janine Arthur 

  • Special Guest Speaker- Alex Glaude, Team USA Women’s Wrestler
