Meet Heide Lindgren, Boise Metro’s Chapter Director! Heide joined WtoWN in December 2022 and, right away, asked how she could get more involved. When she is not leading Coffee + Connect discussions with thoughtful and motivational topics, Heide coaches women on developing a fitness and lifestyle routine that works for them with Heide Lindgren Fitness. Tell us: why did you join WtoWN?

I joined WtoWn to connect with and learn from women in spaces different than mine. I'm always looking to expand my horizons and interacting with women from so many walks of life that are different to what I know is such a gift.

What have you gained so far from your role in Leadership?

From my leadership role, I've learned how much women seek genuine connections with other women. I see in our team every day evidence of women who truly want to cheer each other on and it makes me so proud to be a part of the team in the Idaho Region.

What is your favorite thing, so far, about Women to Women Network?

We are about to spotlight Faces of Hope at our Connect After Hours, and I was fortunate enough to join our Non-Profit Director, Lisa, to tour their new space and learn more about what they do. It brought me so much joy to know that, as a networking group, we can bring light to the work of women who provide respite and hope to women in need. It was such a full circle moment...women helping women helping women. I know I've been a woman in need...so being able to turn around and support other women in their needs -- in any capacity -- fills my cup.

What has being in leadership taught you?

As a coach, I've learned to read people and help them see their potential. It's been fun translating that into some of our Coffee + Connects and helping people who might need just that extra bit of encouragement step into the conversation and share their thoughts, experiences, and expertise.

What is your favorite WtoWN event?

I really enjoy our Coffee + Connects because it gives us all an opportunity to go deeper and feel safe being a little more vulnerable in sharing or in looking for support.

What are you looking forward to most?

I'm looking forward to our creation of more in-person, mastermind-style events where women can really get support in growing their careers and/or businesses.
