Firmina Foundation
Meet the Founder of Firmina Foundation Empowering Children through Education Building schools in Mozambique.
Rukshana Triem, came from Zambia by way of Malawi and Mozambique. At 15 years old her family came to America to start a new life with hope, promise and excitement. After many years of learning, living, an autobiography, and starting a coaching business, she decided to take her Grandmother Firmina’s advice and build schools.
She wanted to give back to those countries that poured passion for education into her. Children have previously been educated under mango trees and as romantic as that may sound to some, it is not the optimum situation for learning.
The Foundation was founded in 2018. After several fundraisers from a general auction in 2019, to a full-blown women’s conference with a fashion show in 2020, a school was built in Mozambique. During the time of Covid, Rukshana reflected on what made her passionate…the Fashion Show! Thus, our 2nd Annual Fashion Show was born. The additional auction came about when she made a trip to Africa.

When Women to Women Network founder and CEO Liz Hatcher took the bold step of launching a new organization for women to connect, collaborate, and grow together, she was stepping into the unknown. The kind of networking she longed for, and other women in her community were asking for, simply didn’t exist. While she may not have known how Women to Women Network would unfold, she knew it would be special.
Fast-forward five years, and this organic gathering of like-minded women has grown into an incredible community of women supporting each other across three states. Liz’s vision has come to fruition in ways she could never have imagined, and the dream-to-reality is still unfolding and evolving based on what women in the communities we serve are asking for.

MEG RULLI - FLIPTURN CELLARS
Flipturn Cellars celebrates the unexpected flips and turns in life. Owner Meg Rulli’s passion for wine began during her college study abroad in Barcelona, where she discovered the joy of pairing wine with food. This passion grew stronger years later when she moved to Oregon, surrounded by the remarkable wine regions of the Pacific Northwest.
In 2019, Meg pursued her Wine & Spirit Education Trust Level 2 & 3 Certifications, deepening her fascination with the grape-to-glass transformation. In 2020, without any prior winemaking experience, she took a bold leap and bought 1 ton of Syrah from Yakima Valley. Through learning by doing and mentorship from talented Oregon winemakers, she produced her first vintage, which was released in the summer of 2022.
Flipturn Cellars sources grapes from vineyards committed to regenerative farming. Meg crafts small-batch, minimal intervention, food-friendly wines, inspired by the wines she has fallen in love with during her travels.
In addition to Flipturn Cellars, Meg creates educational wine content and online courses for everyday wine enthusiasts for her brand, Barrel Dork. Outside of the world of wine, Meg is the Co-Founder of the digital advertising & marketing agency, Intentional Spark, and is a devoted dog mom to her lovable Golden Retriever, Noodles!

I am the creator of Medicine Ghippsy. As an Herbalist and Yoga Teacher, I offer multiple healing techniques teaching wellness for the body and home.
Growing up I faced my own health concerns with digestion and hormonal imbalances. As an adult and stepping into motherhood, my issues became worse. I spent countless hours and dollars on doctor visits and medicines, but nothing helped my body heal. Through my journey I discovered natural ways to strengthen my mind, body & spirit.

I represent closely held business and corporate clients at all stages, acting as an adviser, negotiator, and advocate. Assisting owners in buying or selling businesses is also a part of my practice. I work with individuals to create estate plans and to efficiently administer trusts and estates. Additionally, I work with clients in the acquisition, financing, sale, and leasing of real estate.

ABOUT OUR HOST
Dr. Brittni Ramp | Revive Health & Wellness
Dr. Ramp grew up in a small town outside of Eugene, Oregon. She completed her undergraduate work at Oregon State University, achieving a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. Upon graduation, her career choice pivoted from veterinary school to human healthcare. After extensive research into the many facets of healthcare, she found chiropractic to be her calling. She loves the holistic approach to care that chiropractic provides. A lifelong puzzle-lover, Dr. Ramp enjoys teasing out the root cause of a patient’s symptoms and using a whole-body approach to treatment.
Dr. Ramp specializes in treating patients with connective tissue disorders, such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). She has found a gentle approach to chiropractic care combined with rehab exercises allows patients with these conditions to live a fuller, more pain-free life.
Dr. Ramp is also passionate about animal chiropractic. She offers animal appointments both in the REVIVE office and on a house/barn call basis. She treats animals of all shapes and sizes. She loves seeing the immediate improvements animals show with chiropractic care.
In her free time, Dr. Ramp enjoys reading, crocheting, traveling, and spending time with her partner Nolan and their cat Alice. She is also an avid sports fan, particularly supporting the northwest’s teams (go Blazers!).
