Scaling Smart: Building a Thriving Business on Your Terms
Many businesses dream of growth—but what if I told you that the secret to long-term success isn’t just about chasing the next big thing, but about being intentional, strategic, and truly owning your role as an owner or as an exec?
Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked alongside hundreds of business owners and executives—watching some soar and others stumble under the weight of unplanned growth. I’ve seen what happens when leaders focus too much on the endgame and not enough on building a strong culture, structure, and leadership team to support sustainable success.
In this conversation, we’ll explore:
The Business Life Cycle – Where are you now, and where do you want to be?
Scaling Success Stories (and Lessons from the Not-So-Successful) – What makes or breaks a business on the path to growth?
Common Pitfalls of Growing Too Fast – How to avoid the landmines that can derail your success.
Organizational Structure for Growth – Building the right team to support your vision.
Owning Your Role – leading with confidence and thriving.
Looking Back to Move Forward – Reflecting on your journey and planning for what’s next.
This isn’t just about business growth—it’s about growing the right way, on your terms, with a strong culture and A++ leadership. Let’s talk about how you can take control, scale sustainably, and create a thriving company that supports your vision and goals.
Are you ready to grow with intention? Let’s get started!

Join Us for the Next Leadership Forum: Embracing Leaderhood
The Women to Women Network Leadership Forums are exclusive events tailored for female founders and emerging leaders to connect, exchange experiences, and gain practical insights for overcoming challenges and driving growth. These forums provide a supportive environment to build valuable relationships, enhance leadership abilities, and walk away with actionable strategies you can implement right away.
Whether you're running a business or stepping into a new management role, one thing is clear: leadership today calls for more than just managing tasks—it requires showing up with intention, empathy, and clarity.
We’re thrilled to welcome leadership coach and executive HR consultant Tia B. Coachman to this upcoming Leadership Forum, where she’ll lead a thought-provoking session on what it means to be a leader with a fresh and meaningful perspective.
Tia will introduce us to Leaderhood, a powerful blend of leadership and personhood that challenges the idea that leadership is just about titles or roles. Instead, it’s about who you are, how you show up, and the intentional journey of becoming a leader in all areas of your life.
In this session, you’ll:
Discover what Leaderhood is and why it’s more relevant than ever
Reflect on your current leadership journey through a guided activity
Dive into three essential leadership skills:
Practicing leadership in everyday moments
Leading with a coaching mindset
Meeting core human needs using the BICEPS framework: Belonging, Improvement, Choice, Equity, Predictability, and Status

ABOUT OUR HOST
Grace Clark - Hibbs | Nutrition With Grace
Grace is a registered dietitian, speaker, media and brand consultant, and writer who specializes in addressing digestive and hormonal issues from a holistic and functional health perspective. She's passionate about helping women go from feeling overwhelmed, exhausted and like their symptoms rule their life to finding their vitality again in a body they feel comfortable and confident in.
It is her belief that a healthy gut is a healthy body, which is why she loves helping others sort through all the nutrition mis- and disinformation out there through interactive speaking engagements, media interviews, and group coaching. In addition to her business, Grace also enjoys serving her community and is the current Communications Director for the Oregon chapter of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
When she's not working, Grace and her husband love eating their way around the world, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures everywhere they go. But when they're at home in Oregon, there's nothing better than sitting on the couch in front of the fire, snuggling their orange tabby, Tony.

Currently, Kelly's is distributed nationwide and has expanded its product line to feature Oregon berries with a balanced heat, perfect for sharing on a charcuterie board or incorporating into your favorite recipes.
