MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE TEAM
Dear Members + Future Members of Women to Women Network,
Women to Women Network was established to create a space for women to connect to each other, find opportunities, grow personally and professionally, and create collaborative partnerships and friendships. We pride ourselves on living by our core values of Integrity, Authenticity, Compassion, Inclusion and Community which means we are welcoming to all women regardless of career path, industry, background, culture, ethnicity, and identity.
Over the last five years, we have remained steadfast in these values for our growing community, but have also remained silent in other issues, including politics. As an organization that is built to empower and support women, we can no longer remain apolitical, but we will always remain non-partisan.
After careful consideration and many conversations amongst the Executive Team, we have decided that it is vitally important to provide our Members with the resources and information they need to be informed voters in their Regions. Starting this month, we will have a page with information for the women in our Regions that will include:
How and where you can register to vote;
How to find your polling location;
The importance of local elections and voting;
How to research candidates and their positions, voting records, and how you can support candidates, if you so choose and;
A WtoWN Voter Guide that will provide you with information to consider when voting as to how it can affect you, your livelihood, your communities, and your professions
None of this information will be intended to sway you to one party or candidate, but rather to share with you everything you need to be an informed voter before you enter the ballot box this fall. As professionals, business owners and, most importantly, as women, it is in our best interest to be fully informed and to vote in every election. We hope you use this new resource to your advantage this November. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@wtownetwork.com.
Sincerely,
