UP AND RUNNING!

When we started talking about building a Region in Southwest Washington, I knew the opportunity for a thriving community of like-minded women was just waiting for Women to Women Network. We started in Vancouver in January with a handful of events and officially launched the SW Washington Region on March 21 and since then, we have gained dozens of new members!

One of the aspects I love about Women to Women Network is that we can take their proven model and find opportunities to create events or programs that resonate with the women in our community. In our Region, our members wanted to take advantage of our several urban trails and incorporate movement into a networking event - from this desire, we created Walk + Talk. This outdoor networking event was created to provide opportunities for the women in our community to get outside in the sun, have meaningful conversations, and have an escape from our sedentary desk jobs.

Last month, we spent an hour together moving our bodies and building connections on the Salmon Creek Trail, taking advantage of the wonderful urban trails in our Region. We hope you’ll join us on May 18 for Walk + Talk and for the remaining Walk + Talk events of 2024. We will make the most of the warmer months while we can!
