Alzheimer’s Association - Greater Idaho Chapter
The Alzheimer's Association Greater Idaho Chapter serves a wide area. We help all those facing Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias by providing support groups and educational resources while advancing crucial research and public policy initiatives.
The Alzheimer’s Association provides services to the greater Idaho community. Our support groups are led by trained facilitators and are offered regularly. Our education programs for the general public, both online and in person, feature information on topics such as diagnosis, warning signs, communication, living with Alzheimer’s disease and caregiving techniques.
ABOUT THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Alix Hilton, Executive Director of Alzheimer’s Association of the Greater Idaho Chapter
Alix has a passion for building community through working in the nonprofit space. She has a decade of experience working for various causes in the Treasure Valley and has been with The Alzheimer’s Association since 2019. Before stepping into the Executive Director role in 2022, she served as the organization’s lead in their biggest annual fundraising event, The Walk to End Alzheimer’s. In her tenure with the organization, she has established relationships with communities and companies across Idaho, providing resources for education, support, and opportunities for them to support a cause that affects everyone in their life.
