About Our Hostess…
Catie Buck
Owner, Interior Designer
Josephine West Co. LLC
Born and raised in the Great Lake state of Michigan, Catie, from a young age, has always had a keen interest in interiors. Her background all started with the home she was raised in, an 1887 Victorian (you have to ask her to share pictures!), then to heading out for family gatherings at her grandparents' mid-century ranch on the outskirts of her hometown of Three Rivers, Michigan. It was from there she gained much of her appreciation of not only different styles but, more importantly, how spaces compose in special moments and memories and how they bring family and friends together.
In 2006, she packed all of her things in her car and headed out west to Idaho, where she studied Interior Design and Architecture at the University of Idaho. Before she graduated, she was contracted to an Interior Design firm in the Treasure Valley, then moved on to an architectural firm where she gained first-hand knowledge and experience of the industry at large.
