Your Health: Separating Myth from Fact

Have you heard about the latest Diet fad - Here today and gone tomorrow - or better said, gone today and back tomorrow? Are you concerned about your future and having the health and energy to enjoy your Golden Years?

As busy professionals, we’re juggling a lot between work and life and finding the right balance for our health. While our health is very personal and unique to each of us, one thing we have in common is the need for straightforward answers and simple solutions that work.

Bonnie Johnson knows firsthand what it’s like to get caught up in the medical system trying to get answers and find the way to better health. She has also dedicated her professional life to finding and sharing proven solutions so we can take charge of our own health.

Join us for Coffee & Conversation and networking with other women in business as Bonnie guides a discussion around our health, separating fact from fiction and healthy alternatives to keep you off the pharmaceutical hamster wheel.

 What We Thought We Knew:

  • Disease Prevention

  • Getting those pounds off and keeping them off

  • Diets that don’t work!

  • Your Future You

About our speaker…

Bonnie Johnson
The Wellness Company

Having grown up in northern Minnesota on a farm, Bonnie Johnson developed her lifelong passion for healthy nutrition at an early age, along with her entrepreneurial spirit—her first business was selling sweet corn that she grew in a garden she planted!

Bonnie later studied Home Economics and graduated with a degree in Foods and Business. While in college, she was chosen to be one of eight students that traveled the country giving speeches to Governors and School Administrators about "Food and Fiber" to promote Agriculture, Forestry, Veterinary, and Home Economics.

After graduating college, Bonnie worked for Land' O Lakes. Her specialty was preparing food for photography to be included in brochures, advertisements, and packaging. She also enjoyed a brief but successful career in advertising, kitchen design, and accounting while raising her family. Bonnie also successfully ran and operated the Community Pet Hospital of Tigard, OR, which she co-owned with her husband.

Bonnie loves the outdoors. Walking, fishing, camping, scuba diving, golf, and gardening are her favorites. She also loves to travel and has been to the Bahamas and other Caribbean islands, Mexico, Canada, and England.

Bonnie loves meeting new people and making new friends. She enjoys the freedom of working out of her home and says, “I prefer the kitchen table to a desk. Coffee's close, and the fridge is handy.”
