About our hostesses…
Kara Kazemba
Owner, Counselor
Ancora Wellness
Kara Kazemba is dedicated to serving people who want to take a proactive approach to their mental health. She founded Ancora Wellness to support her patients and fill a need. “We don’t take insurance, so our counseling can be what you need it to be without the stigmatizing limits and labels insurance plans put in place. We believe an insurance provider shouldn’t tell you how many sessions it will take for you to achieve wellness.”
Kara and the team of providers at Ancora Wellness see people who are working toward specific goals or who want to make mental health a part of their regular wellness routine. Their belief is that treatment should be no different than getting a massage or going to see a chiropractor.
As an integrative, holistic health clinic, Ancora Wellness removes the restrictions and obstacles that come with "cookie-cutter" medical care. Kara knows that when services are referred out, care gets fragmented and siloed, often resulting in multiple goals that may not align with what the client actually wants or needs. Being cash-pay means there's no insurance company dictating what your wellness journey should look like.
We offer naturopathic care, counseling, nutritional support, acupuncture, and cranial sacral therapy.
DAnu (pronounced dah-new) Wines are made from grapes sourced across the Pacific Northwest. We partner with vineyards in the Willamette Valley, the Columbia Valley and Oregon’s side of the Walla Walla Valley, who treat the ground they farm with respect and the intention of it being there for generations to come.
Our wines reflect Alaska, the Last Frontier, by demonstrating balance between the old world and the new world. We remain grounded in our practices of farming and winemaking and allow each vintage to express the character of their vineyard.
