A New Approach to Networking

Moving beyond a transactional strategy to foster deeper connections and personal growth.

When I first started attending Women to Women Network meetings, my intentions were simple: grow my business and meet potential clients. Little did I know that what started as a business strategy would turn into something far more meaningful. In fact, the last thing I expected was to be asked to join the leadership team and develop deep friendships with the amazing women in this group.

Being part of WtoWN has truly pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best possible way. I’ve always been a bit of a hermit—give me a quiet corner, and I’ll sit there happily all day. But being in a leadership role with WtoWN means I can’t do that anymore. I have to step up, mingle with members and visitors, and truly get to know the women who make this community so special.

And honestly, I’ve come to love it. The connections I’ve made have not only benefited my business; they've enriched my life in ways I never imagined. I’ve had the opportunity to sit down with remarkable women, hear their stories, and support one another in a space filled with camaraderie and trust. It’s not just networking—it’s building relationships with people who genuinely care about each other’s success and well-being.

Being part of this group has been such a blessing. Every month, I leave feeling inspired, supported, and grateful to be surrounded by such incredible women. It’s more than just business—it’s about growing together, both personally and professionally. WtoWN has given me a sense of belonging that I didn’t know I needed, and I’m so thankful to be part of this community.

For anyone considering joining a networking group, my advice is this: jump in with an open mind. You never know what opportunities, friendships, and personal growth await you. WtoWN has been a game-changer for me, and I’m excited to see what this next year will bring.
