MEET ANGIE SPERRY

We had the pleasure of chatting with Angie Sperry and getting to know her better. Angie is one of our Idaho members and we love her genuine giving spirit.

If you have not met Angie yet, here is a bit of her story…

I have always been a go-getter, overachiever, and something of a perfectionist, but in the fall of 2023, I found the zest for my responsibilities lacking its usual luster. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to fulfill my dual roles of caregiver and employee, but I had begun viewing everything through the lens of “have-tos” instead of “get-tos.” I realized I wanted more—a sense of purpose and some variety to go with it. During a virtual meeting last fall, I heard Emily Romero share her excitement about attending a Women to Women Network event that night. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and I immediately reached out for more information.

My first Connect After Hours event featured the Black Widows, a Boise women’s flag football team. As I observed this group of diverse women encouraging and supporting one another, I was drawn in. These women had full lives but were still looking for that EXTRA. I left the gathering energized and hopeful. I HAD FOUND MY TRIBE and became a member right away through a corporate sponsorship.

The women in WtoWN not only encourage me to dream big, but they've also instilled in me the confidence to pursue my long-standing aspiration of starting my own business. In 2024, I launched Accessible Homes Idaho, LLC, a consulting service that helps individuals adjust their homes to better accommodate their current or future abilities, whether due to temporary health challenges or long-term disabilities.

WtoWN has been instrumental in my journey—not only offering support and motivation but also contributing directly to my business growth. My very first client came through a referral from a fellow WtoWN  member, Victoria Long, which further reinforced the power of this amazing community. I not only look forward to staying connected with my tribe but shining a light for other women looking for their inspiration, their tribe. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help others overcome daily challenges and achieve greater independence through my work.
